Linda------Ashley, an extremely cute little cherubic but very snooty girl made light of Linda’s job as a topless dancer...so Linda invited her to club to see first hand what dancing was really like...when exposed almost all girls fall in love with the admiration the crowd shows to the topless dancers…Ashley was no exception, she fell in love with the excitement of the club...she came back again...then within a week Ashley had a job as waitress wearing a bikini (dancers could but waitresses couldn’t go topless) ... so naturally Ashley started being impressed by the guy's attention and the big tips that the dancers were getting, so a month later she was dancing...Ashley, like many dancers was from a very religious family, usually Pentecostals, Mormons and other holly rollers raise their daughters so protected that when they get out in the real world they have no defenses...They are easy prey for vultures... when Ashley started dancing, she didn’t even drink…after she started drinking, then Ashley got caught up in all the excitement and tried smoking a little...then she eventually did a line or 2-of coke ...from there she got hooked on drugs and wound up a prostitute …the last time I saw Ashley was on the news when the cops did a sweep on Harry Hines picking up the hookers.........I’m using Ashley as an example but I’ve seen this happen to a dozen girls and it more or less happens the same way to many new dancers…its easy to watch their progression ...at first they don't fraternize with black guys...if they do white guys shun them and they get tips…no tips = no money…black guys don't normally tip, so their tips don’t off set the loss of revenue from the white guys… but there will always be a 'good' black guy on the fringe of a group of white guys...he will be friendly but NOT come on to the dancer ...as a friend he'll give her a joint now and then...he will be the first one to give her a free bump of cocaine...over a period of time he’ll keep giving it to her until she was hooked…as she becomes more and more dependent on drugs she turns more and more to the black customer because, even if they don’t tip, they always have drugs...with in a year of the first time she walks into the club, the black guy who gave her the free 'bump' will be her pimp and having her working the street............saw it happen many times...you can't talk to the girls either, they won't listen...god knows Linda tried...and in Ashley’s case even I tried… …..
